#ColortheCare

Cancer disproportionately impacts people of color. According to KPP, racial cancer disparities are “…driven by a combination of inequities in health coverage and access to care, social and economic factors, and care and treatment that are rooted in racism and discrimination.” This is totally unacceptable.

#ColortheCoalition

The cancer space is presently hampered by racial and ethnic division. There are organizations for Black cancer, Latino cancer, and Asian cancer, and let us be very clear – we need all of them! We also need to constructively work together.

#ColortheConference

The MOSAIC CONFERENCE will bring together BIPOC cancer patients, doctors, and caregivers, along with organizations, medical schools, researchers, policy makers, advocates, and professionals to jointly confront our shared challenges and strive together toward a cure.

#ColortheCure!

We can’t say we have our best minds working on the problem when researchers of color are underrepresented. We hope to inspire a tenfold increase in BIPOC doctors, scientists, and researchers. When this happens, we believe we will, at last, find a cure for cancer.

Life Matters.

The mission of United Colors of Cancer is to increase the number of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) cancer survivors, and to find a cure. We are not disease specific. Our aim is to engage the entire cancer space in pursuit of better health outcomes, and to provide a central platform for all cancer organizations, around the world, to connect and collaborate.
